Hey Burners – we’re back from our August vacation, relaxed, refreshed, and ready to ROCK SOME RESISTANCE!
We’ve got a great show lined up this month, starting with a great band: Brooks Hill (featuring Cindy Lou Banks) will be bringing their special brand of Country-oriented Americana. It’s a big-voiced, big-hearted music, deisgned to get your your toes a-tappin’ and your heart a-thumpin’. Opening for Brooks Hill will be a returning favorite: Chelsea Sue, aka Reverb Hunter.
And all in support of the amazing organization Girls Build, working to empower girls and broaden the range of their ambitions by introducing them to the building trades.
Please join us – and help While Rome Burns and Causa support our immigrant brothers and sisters – and enjoy some great music and food to boot!

Girls Build
Inspiring Curiosity & Confidence
During one-week summer camps, girls 8 – 14 years old learn the basics of building, including carpentry, plumbing, electricity, concrete, sheet metal and much more! Girls have fun with other girls their age, learning the basics of many trades from skilled female instructors.
Brooks Hill
Cindy’s hooky, heart-forward Americana songs have stayed with me for almost 20 years. So happy to see this star shining again in the northwest’s musical firmament.
